Based on 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. We are each quite different, but necessary to each other for living as the body of Christ.
The Bridge Lutheran Church mission & ministry has six expressions; Worship, Inreach, Service, Discipleship, Outreach and Multiplication. We call these our "Cross-driven Purposes." The first letter of each Cross-driven Purpose spells "WISDOM". Proverbs 3:13 says "Blessed is one who finds wisdom"!

Based on John:12:23-36. Jesus' love compels us to serve others both in our church & community. We each have a God-given S.H.A.P.E. Using our "Spiritual Gifts" we serve where our Hearts lead-or our passions. We also apply our natural Abilities, Personality and various Experiences.

Based on Isaiah 55:1-13. God calling us together to receive His gifts and respond with praise. This is the heart of the Christian life. We receive God's gifts through his Word & Sacraments and flowing out of his grace comes our living response.

Based on Isaiah 61:10-62:3. New Year's Reflection on the True Light of Christmas: We can't stay silent when reflecting on the glory of Christ. We don't just stop speaking about the Christ-child just because Christmas has passed. We continue to speak about it. We will not be quiet . . . What has begun as a small light has become a new dawn. It has become a blazing torch. It has become something that we see and we speak.
