Based on Deuteronomy 6:1-12. Through Jesus Christ we become children of God who grow up to love and mentor those younger than us! And through Jesus Christ they will become children of God who grow up to love and mentor those younger than them. And through Jesus Christ they will become children of God who grow up to love and mentor those younger than them. (repeat until Christ returns)

Based on Habakkuk 3:1-19. If we keep bringing our complaints to God, the day will come when God will show us the reason for our confidence in Christ. Praying with teeth clenched, the prophet Habakkuk models gritty prayers. Honest prayers will often begin with complaints, but God will lift us out of our despair.

Based on Habakkuk 1:5-2:4. We need to live life the way we watch a Harrison Ford film: we know it'll have a happy ending. Whether he is Han Solo or Dr. Richard Kimble, you know he's going to come out ok. But, you have to get through the drama first! That's how Habakkuk is. And that is how our lives are. We feel the drama of the moment, but we live knowing that in Jesus Christ the drama of our life's stories will have a happy ending.
